Any ideas about how to restart this 2 year old website

Hello Guys,

i was talking to friend of mine and he had this website for some time now. He stopped working on the website for some personal reasons and it was left alone .... Now he is thinking about starting to work on it again ... It is generating steady 300 unique visitors every month for the last 2 years.

I will really appreciate if some one can guide me about how to proceed with it now.

    300 uniques is not a large amount of traffic and the domain name is an odd one.
    Maybe flip it and get another site in a decent niche perhaps?

    The domain name is good. At least, it is catchy and easy to remember. What about switching niches to something that is more relevant to the domain name? or you could sell the domain name. I am sure someone will pay be willing to pay good money for it.

    It is obviously a directory for job seekers. You could approach businesses in each industry to get them to advertise on the site. As mentioned before 300 in not a large number of uniques. You would probably benefit from giving away free ads on the site till you build the visitors. In the meantime build the SEO backlinks and facebook as much as you can

    You have to get some job post first and then promote it to get job seekers. My advice is to get your job post syndicated on major job search engine like indeed and do the SEO.

    Once you have good number of job seekers you can make money by premium posting or even use Google Adsense.
