How to build a list writing articles?

While waiting for my new PC to arrive, I am here at the library researching topics to write articles for my target audience.

1. How to come up with a title for the article (Should I look at the magazines related to my topic and/or Google Adwords Keyword tool)?

If I research Google Keyword tool, how would I know which keyword phrases to choose for writing articles on?

2. Since I am going to be placing these articles on my Wordpress powered blog, is there a limit on the number of words at all?

3. Should I focus on the reader alone and write articles or the search engines too?

Thanks,
Peter.

On which topics do you want to write? You can have a look on Google Trends / yahoo trends to find what the people search for or many search volume your topic has

You can have a look on keyword phrases with some good search volume and less competition. Always check the competition of your keywords.

There is no limit. More words mean more crawl from the search engine of your articles. Have in mind your new visitors don't want to read hours on your article

Of course both. The reader comes over search engines. If you only focus on reader and no search engine, how will they find your site? If you only focus on search engine with no value, your visitors will leave your site.

You can also outsource writing to others don't forget that

I would like to write myself and not outsource.
