Can someone show me the step how to build a list? - WITHOUT MY OWN PRODUCT

Hi Warriors,

I really want to build my own list, I heard that this is awesome way to earn money online.

So, I need someone that will breakthrough the steps of building a list for me.
Can someone show me?

I have no products, can I still build a list and promote other people prodcuts?

    I used a PLR , And Advertise on adf.ly and get about 55 members in 1 week.
    I bought a domain (.info), hosting (HawkHost are great!) and used PHPLIST cause I don't own a credit card to pay GetReposne / Aweber.

    Most commonly, you offer a freebie through advertising. People opt-in to your list to get the freebie. You can then follow up with them to try to make sales.

    That's the short answer.

    Get some PLR and rewrite it. Then do it again for an up sell to cover your advertising costs.

    It ain't rocket science. If you can;t rewrite your own products, go to oDesk.com or one of the other freelance sites and get it done for $30 each give or take.

      I couldn't agree with this comment more!

      This is very important if PLR is all you have to work with right now. There's a ton of crap PLR out there that won't do you any favours when people opt into your list, read it and realise that it really is poor info.

      The chances of them staying on your list are pretty slim at this point, and even slimmer when it comes to them actually buying something you have then recommended to them!

      The building of trust starts right at the point of you're free offer. If this proves to be substandard and not what you make it out to be when they opt in, they will feel cheated out of giving their email details to you in the first place, and will likely unsubscribe.

      So make sure you have a high quality PLR product to give away. Read it through thoroughly first to make sure you are happy with it and in putting your name to it (otherwise this will also damage your efforts to brand yourself successfully)

      Ideally you want to be making moves towards creating you're own high quality product, as this will also help the branding process and ensure consistency in what you offer, providing what you create offers real value.

      Basically start as you mean to go on mate! Make sure you're free product ( yours or PLR) is high quality, so that your list gets off on a good footing with you as a marketer. They will then be far more likely to stay on your list and continue to listen to you as you build that relationship with them.

      Then when you DO promote other products, again make sure they are also good quality, and are fit for purpose with your list, and the sales will come.

      My mentor always told me "Don't chase the money, let the money chase YOU!" What he meant by this is, if you chase the money, you will be forever chasing it. Provide value and help to your list and the money will flow to you in time.

        You can also build lists to sell your own products (obviously). You can build lists to support your affiliates. To reduce buyer's remorse and the subsequent refunds. To build customer loyalty (even if you do promote other peoples' products).

        Most people are only scratching the surface of what they can do with email.

    Yes.

    It would probably be a bad decision to promote other people's products without list-building.

    This is one of the most important and significant things you can ask about.

    Email lists are so important because they allow you to build relationships with people and gradually earn their respect and trust, and those are the major factors involved in the buying-decisions of so many people (in other words "it's where the money is"). My perspective is that of "the affiliate marketer" (though that perspective also overlaps with many others in IM). Most of the long-term income in affiliate marketing comes, collectively, in three ways ...

    (i) By branding yourself, establishing credibility and trust as a "recommender" of products and services, to people who buy them on the strength of your recommendations

    (ii) By making repeated sales to the same customers, who trust you more and more every time they buy something you've recommended (because you never let them down)

    (iii) By keeping traffic returning to the site/sales-page/whatever (because very few people buy anything at their first visit, so you obviously have to have a way of keeping them coming back, which means "regular contact with them")

    Without your lists, you can't do any of those three things.

    When people say list builing is essential or it makes money they don't mean you can just ask people for their emails in exchange for...in this case nothing...and then go straight to the bank by promoting shit to them.

    You build an email list around a site or product(s) and use it as a means to communicate with your visitors / customers, to drive traffic back to your site, to inform them of new products, to market to them but just building a list where you have nothing to offer people isn't going to work.

    I don't think anyone has really answered youre question and maybe complicated it for you.
    my biz model is email marketing building a list fortunately i was lucky to learn how to do this by the pros other wise i would have kept on failing with no understanding of IM.this i feel is the key to a long term online business the money is in the list but it will take time to build your list there are no quick riches it takes work and persistence if you have any type of website and you dont have an email capture box you are missing potential sales down the track FACT.

    the first thing you need to to do is choose a profitable niche researching keywords and competition views etc more importantly you need to choose something you enjoy so you stick with it and keep a positive attitude.
    then you need to purchase you domain name and find cheap hosting
    the next step is to create your 3 page website which consists of
    (landing page) that has 1 objective which is for people to optin to your list for this you need an irresistible free offer related to your niche wich could be a PLR eBook or video tutorial or software, eBooks don't really convert like they used too video or software is better but eBooks do still work to make then want to give up there trusted email address you could also make a bundle of products
    (thank you page ) once they optin they are sent to this page thanking them and letting them know they need to check there email inbox to confirm there subscription you should also have an offer below like a OTO product offer
    you will link this with an auto responder which is what will send the confirmation email to your subscriber once they click the confirmation button they will be sent to your download page where they can download there free offer
    (download page) has the link and instructions how to download product
    now that you have captured the email you need to nurture your list and provide them with value and build a relationship with them to gain there trust the average is around 6-7 emails before they would consider buying from you so its good if you maybe have newsletter or some articles, or links to good videos, set up in your auto responder a follow up sequence dont sell every day you need to find a balance of adding value and selling to them say like 2 two emails of value then offer a product on the next email you can use PLR products or you can create you own or just promote affiliate products or a mix of all ideally you would like to sell your own products and get 100%commissions but you can work up to that later.once you set up your follow sequence start driving traffic to you landing page and test and tweak all whilst building your list
    that's it my freind your success will up to you and how much action and effort you put in but this is the way to go if you want a long term online biz with list building.
    you have two choices you can learn to build your own landing pages and learn how it all works from scratch or you can get into a done for you system that already has all these elements done for you all you will have to do is start sending the traffic i can help you more with both these methods any time you like just msg me or check out my signature its your choice but i have outlined the steps for you to take so go take action good luck

    Yes you can. You can find any products that you can promote at ClickBank, Jvzoo, and much more. But I recommend you to make your own product as you don't have any list yet. You can rewrite any PLR but make sure you give them value.

    If you promote other people's product, you actually give the product owners your own list. This might affect your relationship with your list. So make sure that you build relationship with your list and earn their trust first before promoting other people's products.

    then you need to buy a domain name , and hosting account , hostgator is the best when it comes to hosting.

    then create your squeeze page (90secondsqueezepage ) it is totally free and start driving traffic to your website .

    Sure you can, but now you know that, your priority is not building a list, but obtaining / reviewing products you are confident of to build your arsenal of offerings.

    Only then can you setup a decent autoresponder sequence.

    Products first. List second.
