Getresponse free trial single optin

Hi
I am evaluating a trial account with GetResponse.
My landing page form is setup as single optin. Although optin is working subscribers don't get added to the campaign. They are kept in a queue.
Does free trial account not allow single optin?

Thanks

I'm not sure why this would be. Maybe GetResponse does it differently - it has been a time since I used GR. I now use aWeber, and that works in exactly the same way, if it is a single or double opt-in, then only difference being that a double opt-in will display that it is awaiting confirmation for the subscriber, until they confirm, and are then added to the list.

That double opt-in scenario sounds more like they're in a queue than a single opt-in would.

Maybe ask GetResponse what this is about?

Free trial SHOULD allow single optin as it is very much a standard feature. A very stupid question, but did you enable single optin in getresponse?

Many a times, it's the silliest mistake on our part that makes us scratch our heads...

Hey there, the free trial with GetResponse certainly allows single opt-ins. I use GetResponse myself.

Double-opt in is on by default for every campaign you set up in GetResponse.

One way to turn off double-opt ins is:
    1. Go to your campaign settings: little gear icon in top right corner
    2. 'Permission' tab: last of the 3 tabs on the left
    3. Un-tick 'enable confirmed opt-in' for email and web subscriptions

Done. Your subscribers will not have to confirm their email address and will be on your list immediately.

The only thing I don't like about GetResponse is that you have to pay $15 per month extra for the landing page creator on top of your normal monthly fee. Other than that I think GetReponse is great
