Is s2member what I need?

Here is what I need to do.

  1. A buyer comes to my squeeze page and fills in the opt in for a free trial
  2. He then goes to a free trial registration form page where he gains access to a portion of the members area
  3. After that anytime he tries to click on a link he does not have access to he is sent a to my sales page.
I won't be selling a monthly membership. This is a one time fee for lifetime use product. Can I accomplish this with s2member or do I need something else.

I have s2member but when I set it up I have open registration turned on and my login welcome page set as my members home. The members home page would be where they can access pages from the course that they have privileges for.

My members option page is my free trial page but that doesn't work because I want them to register and then when they try to access something they haven't yet paid for go to the sales page.

Please help

This is a problem with S2 Member, though it is the way it's made. What you have to do, and the reason they call it "membership OPTION page" is to have all your options on there.

You need to set you free trial page to something else and your sales page as your member option page. Then send traffic to the free trial page.

You could always put a link or graphic on the member options page that then redirects to a sales page. Then the sales page would have the paypal form etc. It's up to you how you do it but there are ways to make it work that wouldn't really compromise the user experience.

Hi guy's thanks for the help. I did figure out what to do. I will try to explain what I did. I have 3 pages a squeeze page that is also my home page
My sales page is my members option page and the page everyone will get sent to when they try to access something they haven't paid for. The last page is a FREE TRIAL page, this is the page that aweber will send them a link to. The free trial page has some instructions and a big access now button that takes them to a free registration form.
In order for the FREE TRIAL page to work I had to go to the Restriction Options and remove the page ID from the Level 0 restrictions.
      Now everything works!
