Get Paul's Handy Little Guide to the Warrior Forum

First I would suggest for you to read around the forum a bit and learn as much as you can. Then I would advise you to pick a niche and a method that interests you and learn as much about it as you can.

I think you need to find a niche according to your interest and then find more information about that niche on this forum. Also you will need to read on what others are doing in that niche, what they are discussing about it and how they are promoting it.
You dont need to know everything others are doing, just concentrate on your niche.

To get a good start and find good info, learn to use the search function here on the WF, then search for details about setting up a blog, hosting, content creation, article writing, building a list, traffic methods, etc.

1=find a product on clickbank

2=learn on how to make a high converting review site

3=learn on how to make a high converting squeeze page

4=learn on how to make a high converting ppc ads and drive traffic

5=traffic in and opt in to your list

6=learn on how to build a great relationship with email list



THE RESULT:
if you lucky you can just make money by review site.

BUT IM NO RECOMMEND THAT,

just EXPECTING your income from email list



AND MOST IMPORTANT:
1=think it like a business not a quick money scheme

2=make yourself a timeline-THE BEST ONE is-2 month

I'm totally not being funny, but most people don't start a business, but not know what that business is.

Do you like writing content, marketing stuff, selling stuff (I'm guessing not due to the MLM comment) Are you good at graphics, putting web sites together?

I'd start with something you either enjoy or already have knowledge in.

As you said there's a lot of jargon to learn, and skills to perfect before you will see any sales, so the more of a leg up you can give yourself, the better off you will be.

Whatever you decide to do online it all starts with niche selection.

There's lots of ways to make money.

#1 Affiliate marketing
#2 Create and sell info products
#3 Sell solo ads
#4 Offer a service

And the list goes on. Which ever route you go down you'll need to decide on a niche and then you can decide how you'll like to serve that niche.

choose one do-able method and hammer the hell out of it until you're making money and seeing results

there are many methods where you don't always need a website or even a domain you just have to find a method that suits you best

Don’t take action before knowing what you are doing. Study many posts in this forum, and start learning how to make money online without spending money. Create Squidoo lenses and Hubs, so that you may understand how to work online and promote your links.

You will find many free lessons about how to create perfect business lenses and hubs if you’ll look for them.

You can also create a Blogger blog for free and start posting your articles with links to affiliate products.

Later you should create your own website, blog, etc, but in the beginning you should study internet marketing into practice without spending money.

You will even make some money by creating Squidoo lenses and hubs. Later you will use them to drive traffic to your own pages.

Read as much as you can.

You should also check out the Articles Forum here on Warrior Forum, read the threads, and download the free articles and ebooks. Research, research, research before you spend any money here. You need to determine what your skills sets and interests are before jumping into anything. There are a lot of free resources available so find those resources and learn as much as you can, then take ACTION.

Just my personal guide on what to prioritize in your studies. The key is to actually do something, even just selecting a niche and a keyword to target... then registering for a domain... then signing up with a webhosting... etc. This is to avoid Analysis Paralysis. There's a lot of information out there!

Just to categorize the areas of I.M. that I'm implementing - from easy to advance. Start from the top one at a time, study and ACT.

1. Create a website (you can practice with a free blog like wordpress before having your own hosted site)
2. Decide how to monetize your site.
3. Article writing / copywriting
4. Search Engine optimization
5. Outsourcing work (if you have the money)
6. Creating a Sales Funnel and a List
7. Paid traffic

You can always start with assessing yourself on what do you want to do online, I mean, what are the products you want to promote or make money from. There are lots of useful information her in the forum. Just freely browse and educate yourself.

Also, I would avoid the WSO section because you'll waste a lot of money on junk there.

There's some golden products, but most, sorry WFers, are junk!

Pick one method whatever that may be: affiliate marketing, product creation, offering some kind of service...whatever, and learn it inside out. But after all is said and done list building is your best choice. Only your own list will give you the freedom you want.

There are lots of good guides here, read reviews and buy one or two of the best ones. Then stop and apply the techniques from this guide. Do not jump from one thing to another.

Carefully choose who's list to be on, being on 20,30 lists with each marketer promoting different products is distracting, so FOCUS!!

And you have made one of the most important steps you can ever make...you asked a question! Do not stop, ask for help every time you get stuck, you'll be surprised how many people here want to help you. Good luck!

Simple, don't get bogged down with to much information at the start. Get a good program to promote and be willing to make a mistake. That's the best way to learn.

This forum actually has a lot of information so just read and read. You should be able to grasp the concept after around 1 week or two.

As mentioned on this thread focus on one thing and master it.. i get overwhelmed too sometimes but I decided to focus on one good program and I use it all the way and its been great!

To make a beginning is hard no doubt. Harder would be stick to it after you begin!

Welcome to the world of Internet Marketing. There are tons of information that can help you get started in your online venture. Having access to lots of information is good but please remember not to let it cause you to suffer from information overload.

You will want to choose a mentor that you can model after and stay focus on one business model at a time as most starters like to jump from system to system.

Beat advise I could give you is to fight information overload. There is so much information out there it is very easy to take on to much at once.

Find a your style (videos,articles,blog,etc.)

Find your niche and stick to it. The with great content and time you will be successful.

Most of all if you can find a mentor and let him lead you.

Here's what I did. I got a free hosting account at 000webhost and bought a $8 domain @ 1and1, link in my signature (below this post). Setup Opencart on the 000webhost server, then added the products and personalized opencart with their free modules. BTW Opencart is Free open source shopping cart software. And currently am working on search engine optimization (SEO), and a "First Page Placement" on google. Its exciting to see "all" those backlinks get noticed by "GoogleBot". This is where I started. Their is alot of good advice on this thread so choose wisely, And most importantly have fun. My advice is to make something unique and simple enough for "YOU" to understand.

P.S. If you start with a blog I highly recommend Joomla for the content management system (CMS).

For vocab reference, WSO = Warrior Special Offers. Pretty much a product you can find on sale.

Also, focus on using email lists. One of the best people to listen to is Frank Kern. Focus in on a few things - all this crap is VERY daunting because there is so much.

Finally, don't give up. You CAN make it. Again, follow Frank Kern's teachings they will help and are the right direction.

You need to have a pretty good idea of what you like/want/can do. I think thid is the most important.
Do not worry about the acronyms and jargon. It was all Greek to me at the beginning (actually, some of them still are :-D ) You have already received some ideas for a starting point.

1.The first thing you want to do is to get information. You have found the warriorforum,the best place to start,so thats great. (I have been a "guest reader" here for a few years and all the info from here have been crucial for me.) Learn some basic SEO,good methods to drive traffic and listbuilding.

2.Find a niche. The easiest way to find a niche is to concentrate on something you are passionate about. Remember,content is king in this business and if you are passionate about something it is easier to write (or produce) quality content.

3. Decide what model you want to do(squeeze,blog,reviewsites etc),but regardless of what or which you do, always capture the leads. I will URGE you to sign up with a good (paid)autoresponder service (I use aweber myself) so that you secure your leads. If you need to choose between website/hosting and a paid autoresponder I would go for the autoresponder any day.

4. Drive traffic. There are many good (and free) and newbie friendly methods. Youtube,article marketing,forum marketing etc. I`m sure you can find a lot of information about it here on the warrior forum.

5.When you start getting traffic,and slowly building your list you want to feed your subscribers with quality content. Before you can make any sale,you need to gain your subscribers trust.In e-mail marketing there is only one way you can do such a thing...QUALITY content.

Reading here and there sure differs from reading wide at first glance, and then taking time to stick with one method at first that suits your needs. Chase one rat each at a time, especially now that you're just starting out.
Look for ways to add value to others' lives. This can be through information or services you can render.Always under-promise, but over-deliver, this way you'd get more repeat sales and recommendations, and believe me, those are goldmines if you're serious on making a killing in this industry.

Since you're on a low budget I would either suggest a list-building course off of a trusted wso seller here, or even a good "how-to" book off of amazon.com on creating an online web business.

Some quick steps in creating a real online "information business" are: Choose a niche in which you're passionate about, (and be sure that it is very popular and competitive - then you are sure there is money to be made in it). Then create a free pdf or video, and also an e-book for sale/ or video product, (people off of fiverr.com can help you with some things here as well), then choose a domain name/ and hosting, offer videos on youtube with your link in the description, build a list, write a simple WP blog, then offer the readers a free high-value quick pdf or video to solve a problem that they have, then offer them your product/ solution for sale, offer an upsell, offer coaching afterwards if possible.

There are many ways to make money online, however what I can suggest is to do one thing at a time from start-to-finish, and keep at it - you can do it, it's all a choice.

First thing is to figure out what you want to do! Pick a niche and then read about that in Warrior Forum. Then buy some training and implement.

I pretty new visiting this site. I started off going through FAQ, where a lot of information there to let me have a feel of what's going on in the site and begin to narrow down the area I want to explore further. Since you are new in internet marketing, this may be a good way to start, as you narrow your scope, go to the Search and find more info.

Before purchasing any WSO just spend some time on the same forum like 10-15 days. You will come to know many different things.
If you get any difficulty just search it on Google or in the forum itself.
After getting sufficient beginners knowledge just go to WSO section and try to purchase WSO for beginners only. read sales page of WSO properly that for whom that ebook is made. and proceed accordingly.

My library has a bunch of books about Internet marketing and blogging and the like. I'd check your library for books that will help you learn the basics and understand the jargon.

If you know what you want to do, find someone who is doing it successfully and learn from them and then take what you learn and put it into action.

I think the real question is WHAT DO YOU REALLY LIKE DOING. Because you have to love what you do. Do you want to promote someone else's products? Or do you want to build your own product? Just look around, see what you like and go with that!
