Help with local directory listings for multiple branch locations
Hey guys,
I'm trying to create uniform local listings and get some good do-follow links at the same time, using sites like Manta, MapQuest, etc. Trouble is my company has one HQ (where we do NOT want customers to come) and 14 branch locations across the country. Our website has a locations overview and dedicated pages for each office.
So, question 1 - when I'm putting the Website URL into these directory listings, should I put our home page, locations overview or the individual location page? Does it even matter?
Question 2 - duplicate content on the business description blurbs. Is there any benefit to re-writing it in a unique way every time or should I just copy & paste?
Question 3 - What do I do about sites that only allow one listing per account? Are they even worth the effort of creating 15 separate accounts?
We've pretty much got Google, Bing and Yahoo locked down so this is really just concerning some of the smaller directories.
