Default A couple questions about email marketing

I am relatively new to internet marketing and a complete novice at email marketing. I am looking to promote AllXClub (a new adult mlm) through my blog (heavensallxclub.com).

Currently in the upper right corner (below the header) I have a static ad image leading to the opportunity. What I want to do is replace that with an ebook I am currently writing. I want the prospect to have to input a VALID email address to be able to access the book.

I know the idea is nothing new or novel but I really am clueless (the blonde in me ) about how to accomplish this. I assume I need to use a service like aweber to handle the opt ins (?). Does aweber also have the tools to create the form and image that would replace the banner I have there or do I need to find someone with some design background to do it for me?

You can create a form in Aweber for inputting their name and email address, and customize it to a degree (give it a headline, etc.). When you're finished you get a block of HTML code (or javascript) that you just copy and then paste into your blog where you want it to be.

Forgive my ignorance...would this "block of html code" include the graphics neccessary to make the ad at east appear somewhat appealing or is it just going to handle the actual function of accepting and verifying the email address? Sorry if I am not wording this right...
