1280 Visitors To My Clickbank Page, Not 1 Buyer!!!!!

Is that normal? I started promoting 1 of Clickbank's diet and fitness pages with 345 gravity, so far I have had 1280 hops but not even 1 made it to the purchase page, never mind buying. I am using Lead Impact to get the visitors that are supposed to be targeted visitors, I used only diet and weight loss KEYWORDS in my Ads campaign. What am I doing wrong???

Two (or more likely all three) of the "three basic essentials" mentioned here, I think: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

For what you're doing, the results you're getting honestly are entirely normal, I'm afraid. I think that thread will help you, though.

  • Normal is a relevant term. It depends on how targeted the visitors are, how well the page converts, obviously not well, and other factors that are difficult to give detail on without more info. Your results are however not unusual.

It could be bots as well. I am having a high amount of hops for a product, but don't get that many visits to the page. The only thing I can think of is bots.

    Is that normal?
I have a particular product that sells one copy for about every 2000 hops. It has sold at this rate for almost four years. I tried everything I know to increase conversions but that's the percentage it sells at, consistently.

that are supposed to be targeted visitors
And I have some Ocean front property in Arizona I'd like you to check out...

    What am I doing wrong???
Promoting an over saturated, kinda shady, not well received (for the most part) niche.

You might consider promoting another product which might give you better conversion. I personally just take the gravity as a guide and I will only know whether it convert until I have tested it. Marketing is all about testing

    You are using Lead Impact?

If I am correct, Lead Impact is a CPV popup type advertising platform where people see your website popup over or under a website they are already viewing.

The quality of this traffic is very low. You can't compare those 1280 hits to 1280 clicks you would get from PPC or Facebook ads. They are a totally different ballgame and that's why Lead Impact charges so little for those views... because generally speaking you need a LOT more to make anything work.

lead Impact with CB product... Hmm... If you use CPA offer maybe you get result but paid CB product no.
You could have better result with facebook adds than leadimpact.

Yeah, that traffic kinda sucks... Try some FB ads and dig into SEO. Also, how is your landing page? Are you going for the direct sale, collecting leads with a promo, etc?

Tweaking for best conversion makes a HUGE difference.

I just read how Lead Impact works on there site. Now correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like every time someone uses your keyword or URL your site will pop in another window right? If this is how it works your hops wouldn't be a very accurate number. Your gonna get a hop every time you pop up in another window weather they pay attention to your ad or not.

If your going to use this your gonna have to offer something they just can't refuse. Maybe offer them some free content like a ebook, weight loss facts, or tips. Make them sign up to your list to gain the info. Then you gain there trust to build the sell, and you can sell to them many times over.

Sending them directly to a clickbank page when there looking for a weight loss product that isn't yours would take a really good headline. It only takes seconds to turn off a potential customer.

That is also a very good point. With popup traffic it doesn't mean someone has seen your salespage it just means it has popped up on their computer. Most people shut those offers down quick smart unless it's something that really sticks out to them.

It really depends on the quality of traffic, and this starts before they reach your page. If you prime visitors to buy and the traffic is targeted and seeking out what you're selling, they will buy.

    If not, they won't.

Use lead generation. You could have probably converted 30% of them into leads, and then just follow up on them with your emails promoting your affiliate product. I'm sure you've heard this before, so why aren't you doing it?
