Internet Marketing for Realtors

Hello,

Curious to know if providing internet marketing for real estate professionals is something worth pursuing. Realtors seem to be known for being cheap when it comes to internet services, which may be my greatest hurdle.

My initial idea is to provide SEO, social networking, blogging, ect--for a monthly subscription. My marketing for clients will be mostly in my local area, by providing real estate offices with free how-to presentations on internet marketing--perhaps during their monthly sales meetings--in hopes to get business this way.

Suggestions/advice greatly appreciated!

When you find a Realtor that wants to succeed, money won't be a problem.

MOST real estate sites can use a lot of help. Too much "me, me, me", and not enough attention paid to the prospective client.

First thing you want to know: What do you expect from your website, and is it living up to your expectations?

You can go from there and pretty much decide what they might need you to do for them. SEO is a great place to start.

I come from the real estate world and you are spot on about Realtor's reluctance to spend money on the Internet. Realtors (even the highly successful ones) are tight in general

Having said that, they will spend money once they realize the return on their investment. To that end, I would be prepared to offer your services "on the cheap" at first. Maybe structure your pricing based on rankings. Charge X dollars upfront but once their site ranks in the top ten for their chosen keywords the fee goes up to X. Just an idea.
