Got 99 Problems But a Pitch Aint One

Hey, I'ma make this post pretty short, just want to ask you for an opinion..

This goes mostly to the "begginers - action taking stubborn never ever giving up folks that are about to get that momentum" kind of people.

Are you REALLY that afraid to sell?

I mean, I love selling, It's after all what I need to do if I want to SELL products, no?

So I keep seeing all these people, on lists, on emails, on chats, on sites
that they make their pitch SO unnoticable, so WEAK..

I mean, what are they afraid of?

What, a good call to action won't kill me or you.

It won't even hurt you..
Just give you some more money!

So, are you afraid of selling?
If yes, why? what is your biggest problem with selling?

Thanks,
Tom

My problem is figuring out what to sell.

After I do that, I will fall into "afraid to sell" position.

Thanks for opening my eyes to this new problem.

I will do my best to destroy that fear.

Don't really have any comment on your OP but I just had to post to congratulate you on your topic title. Now THAT is a good subject line... let's see if it starts showing up in my mail box in the next few days

JayZ would be proud of you... not to mention Linkin Park, which is the version I prefer.

    Cheers

    Steve

I'm afraid of selling face-to-face. Somebody might slam the door in my face and make me drop my $2,000 vacuum cleaner. Yes... i am REALLY that afraid of selling these things.

    ...LOL...

@RandallMagwood I did door to door sales before. It wasn't that bad, People wouldn't normally slam the door in your face and fortunately I never sold vacuums.

However I had this one door to door sales job where I would have to sell free money, they didn't have to buy anything, I just had to get them to sign for it. I thought after selling newspapers when newspapers would never be as hot as they once were selling free money was going to be easy.

Ironically virtually all the customers gave me a hard time, treated me like a criminal and had people threaten me. So I guess it can be scary sometimes.

    Hi Tom:

Oh yes, I am aware of that rap song.

Today, I was at the miami zoo. I was looking at a hungry tiger pacing the length of his cage. Basically, he reminded me of me. He could not stop pacing. Oh yes, he wishes he was back in the wild, but he cannot understand that situations change and he is simply too fat and slow to survive now. Basically, to survive in the jungle you gotta be lean and mean.

Most people with cushy jobs, dream of making it big, but they do not understand the gigantic effort we have to expend simply to survive. Life is hard, even when you are a lion, but few understand that deep inside their comfortable sheep pen.
