Useful tip for those of you buying expired domains...
Hey guys, gonna keep this short.
Just snatched a real PR3 domain with high quality backlinks for $5. Yeah, $5 lol. How did I do it?
Well, here's how most people do it:
- download a list of expiring/closeout domains from godaddy
- check for pageranks
- check for fake pageranks/redirects
- check for backlinks
- buy/pass
If you're doing it this way, you should re-consider your strategy. I highly advise you to FIRST check for backlinks and then check for fake pageranks, redirects.
Why? Well, check this out:
This domain had a redirect on it, and it registered as having "fake PR" at rankchecker.com
But upon examining its backlinks, you can see that it truly has solid amount of live, quality backlinks. The owner just redirected its domain nameservers to his/her new domain, that's it. The page rank is still very real.
So it went unnoticed for $5 at closeout
