Failed Subscription Payments from PayPal

After many emails to-&-fro with PP & getting nowhere, I finally received this from them today

>>Upon review, it turned out that the extra field below 'Direct Debit' source was caused by a system update we're consistently doing to improve the functionality of the website. Unknowingly, an extra field was added which shouldn't be there at the first place.

For the mean time, please disregard the extra field below 'Direct Debit' as we have escalated this to our Technical Team for it to be removed to avoid confusion on the customer's end>>

I've still no idea if this is going to fix the issue or not:confused:

In any case, thought I'd post this here in the event that others had been having the same issues.
