Dear all,

I have a web shop and would like to sell my products through that. unfortunately since the shop is running since sept 2012 I couldn't get any sales out of it and I also get hardly visitors for that site.

I am travelling around the world in an 1965er VW Combi and I do charity as well. I know most of you here are looking for easy money making sites, but my site is real, and I am real. I just want to get some sales out of it in order to be able to fund my travelling account and also to donate a part of the income to charity organizations which I meet on my trip.

Maybe there is a cheap or even free way to promote the link some where...

Please if you have any suggestions kindly contact me. I assume I am not allowed to post my web adress here. Just type bulliadventure24 in Google and you will find it, If not PM me.

I hope you can help.

Thanks and regards

Jens

I looked at your site - and a few things.

Sometimes I don't quite understand what you're selling - "Something Unique" - I don't understand...I guess you come to an event and sell things?

I don't know...it's just confusing as to what I'm buying.

You also sell shirts - cool. A lot of folks sell shirts. Why do I want to buy from you? They're more like souvenir shirts that someone would have to know who you are and had an experience with you to buy. As a regular visitor to your site - I don't quite know why I'd want to buy a shirt from you - unless I know proceeds are going to a cause I support.

You also have some artwork and such that is very expensive. Is it your artwork? Where is it coming from? I'm just confused - you're in a van and drive around and sell art?

You do mention about giving proceeds to a charity (or something like that)...but which one?

Overall, as a visitor to your site - I'm confused as to the purpose of it. I think if you had a more definitive goal like -> we travel the world spreading awareness and raising money for cancer research -> I'd be like...oh yeah? How can I help? And you're site would be like...you can help by buying artwork, etc.

Also, your site is not very professional. The logo is low quality, has a bunch of random white space.

There's a tweet box below the footer.

You have some random ads that don't deal with what your site is about.

All in all - as a visitor - I'm confused.

Sorry if that's "harsh" but that was my experience.

Along with what NatesMarketing has already mentioned, I would also love to hear the 'story' behind your travels. Stories always sell well.

      1. Create a blog detailing places you've visited, people you've met, food you've had etc...... All your experiences. Not only will this draw an audience, it's also a permanent record for you to show your grand kids one day.
      2. Add links to your social pages- Facebook, Pinterest etc. You can gather a real following through them. While on the road, get the people you meet to follow you online and keep them engaged.
      3. Add links to charities you support. Perhaps make 'charity' your main selling point. A few stories of how money raised is helping others etc. With that in mind, work with the charities to publicize their cause and your fundraising efforts. You should get a healthy amount of free traffic.
      4. Photos / pictures / images / youtube videos. Get loads and use them on your site. Share them on your social networks with links pointing to your site. Use them to get an audience.

There's lots you could do. Have a look at some travel blogs for tips as some are monetized and lots can if the owners wished.

      PS. Need I mention kickstarter?

    Hi,
I am also confused by your website. Under clothes I found four T-shirts (I also found some more hidden away somewhere) Something Unique shows a photo and free shipping for $25
Then we are taken to another page offering to do promotions for a price to be quoted. Marytwain has some good ideas. Make sure you use keywords that are being searched for and do some backlinking.
Google has to understand that you have value to add to the reader not just T-shirts for sale. Is there a story behind each of the designs you put on the T-shirts.
Put all the T-shirts in one place and spell Accessories correctly

Just noticed the 2 separate sites (.de and .com). Are they separate for a reason?

First of all, the site isn't very attractive and very crowded. At first glance, i really didn't know what to look at.

Try to capture your audience first before you try to sell them anything. I believe many of the visitors would be interested in who you are, your travels and the things you do. Most importantly, why did you do it.

Like what the other warriors have mentioned, why should i buy from you. (cos your shirts isn't very nice looking) Charity would be selling point. How the money earn is used for your traveling to help more people around with donations and fund raising.

Create a following. Create a opt-in area to receive newsletter. This newsletter could include ads from your sponsors so you can send to your subscribers. Create a facebook page and a tweeter acc so more people can connect with you directly as well as using social marketing to create more traffic to your site.

Have a youtube channel with videos of your travels, the people you meet and the people you help. This is another great source to create lots of free traffic to your site.

Partnership with companies, organisation and events and ask them to help you share what you do on their facebook page or magazine etc.

Last but not least, Internet marketing needs works. Lots of it for a start. It's not as simple as creating a website.
