need help deciding on free offer for customers

I'm about to publish a Kindle cookbook (I know there are thousands of them, but this one has an unusual angle) and I want to give away free dessert recipes to gather emails subscribers. I have 8 recipes to give. Should I give them all 8 at once, in an ebook format or should I mail them one recipe at a time 8x? If I give them the ebook, then I will still email them later, but I'm thinking that I'm more likely to get unsubscribers this way. If I do it the other way, should I do it as once a week? daily? if so, how would you word that? Get your free weekly dessert recipes? would you call it a subscription?

As hard as it was to write the book, I realize the marketing is the most important part and I don't want to screw it up.

    8 at once with the best marketing would be the best thing, you can concentrate on only one marketing .. but do it really good

    Had the same issue a few months ago, and this solution worked very well for me
