I'm thinking of starting a contest for one of my sites. This contest would use a viral loop which would require the contestants to share their contest pages with their frends via email, facebook, twitter etc.

Example - SmartAsset Contest

Is there any software that automates this?

    There are some websites for that, but they take all some comission.
    If you do it yourself, take care you dont end up having no one sharing because it looks like a scam.

    I did this too for my startups ( 10 y experience ) and out of experience I can say that you should better have a large audience already, or it wont go "viral" as you said.

    Try to make it dont look as a scam.
