I have another niche in mind that targets mainly the teen audience. My question is would it be profitable? The reason I asked is because teens might not have a credit card or might not be able to pay for any products. So I am thinking of maybe instead of promoting affiliate products, maybe I should use adsense or something like that. Has anyone had any success targeting a teen audience?

I tried targeting teens for an affiliate offer once and it didn't do so well for the reasons you stated. If I were to do it again I think I would do AdSense or I would somehow target the parents of the teen (if the product or service made sense to do so). Teens are a tough crowd to market to in general...at least in my experience. Travis Quote:

I have done some CPA marketing to teens, and it turned out quite well. The only trick is fairly obvious, use CPA leads that do not require credit card info and you should be good. I cashed in pretty good with some ringtone offers and hanna montana videos a while back. The tweener (thats between child and teenager) crowd is ALYWAYS obsessed with something and will pay for anything related. Best of luck Rebtl |

Teens don't need credit cards for ringtones and IQ quizzes .. ![]() Profitable ? As long as ringtones exist, and other mobile offers teens will be a good demographics. Also email submits, Ipod/PS2/PS3 offers work very well. |

| All the major CPA networks have email submits that convert well to teens and ringtone offers. You can use offervault to find these types of offers as well.

Teen audiences are hard as they don't have credit cards or enough money as you said. I however, wouldn't recommend keeping away from the teen sector as it can be profitable if you know how to use it

The teen audience is extremely profitable, I've seen up to $5-$10 USD payouts in CPA networks. They don't even have to enter CC details, usually it's just their e-mail and you get payed. It also converts very well considering it's just free leads. If you can send 1,000 teens to the offer, you're looking at $500-$1,000 potentially (5%-10% conversions). You just have to figure out a way of sending massive amounts of teen traffic to the offers and you're good to go. |
