Discover who built a website

Hello guys

I want to know who built a website and I neew some tip from you on how to do that.

I already:
  1. Saw their code with Chrome. No sucess
  2. Checked their backlinks with Open Site Explorer. No sucess


Is there any other way to do this ? I can't contact them.

    You can try a whois search. Not sure of the best site to use but try whois.net or whois.com or a domain registrar like namecheap or something and you should find out that way unless they have whois guard or something else.

    Edit: Saying that, that should tell you who owns or registered the domain, not necessarily who built the website on it.

    Change Google.com to the domain name you want to research.
