Hi, i am getting a lot of disputes from people who purchase my stuff.

I am not sure what is the problem. But if just some one don't like the product they just come and ask for a re-fund.

I am denying most of the refunds. I have clearly mentioned in the site that we don't have re-fund policy.

what should i do ? and if people keep posting disputes. PayPal will close my account ? What action they can take and after how many disputes they will look into my account ?

or there is simply no chance of account suspension ? i keep posting messeges in Paypal resolution center that we don't have a re-fund policy as stated in the site.

Thanks

Take a good look at your product. It is certainly lacking somewhere. Ask the unhappy customers what they don't like and fix it.

With that many requests, the problem is likely your product. Refund the buyers. It's less hassle and safer than disputes.

Refund them. Yes, PayPal will look into your account and possibly suspend it.

PayPal doesn't care. With so many complaints, PayPal is going to start paying attention.

Unfortunately, you only have 2 options. Refund your customers or escalate the paypal dispute(s) to a claim(s). In most cases, if the product you are selling is a digital or informational product, like an instructional pdf(s) or instructional video(s),paypal will rule in your favor and not issue the refund, but if you get too many disputes then they will investigate you and the products that you are selling, and most likely your paypal account will get "limited" or possibly suspended.

Well, excessive of dispute case will make your account suspended for whatever reason it is. I suggest you to refund their money, if your product selling for $5(fiverr price I bet that's no hurt for you.

    Hey Pingster,

There's alot of issue these days with rampant "purchaser refunders" - people who are notorious for purchasing products using protected transaction methods that allow them to get their product for free. Then maybe share them publically on websites. Here are some things you may need to consider:

    1. Monitor the purchases- if they continue in the future, make sure you put preventative measures to stop repeat offenders

    2. Talk to your customer - They're either genuinely upset, or they are a "purchase refunder" - whatever it is, they are refunding for a reason. It's in your best interest to find out what that is.

    3. Advance, or strengthen the caption of no refunds, you may get less sales, but at least your paypal account won't be suspended!

Whether you like it or not, you have to offer a refund, or risk having your Paypal closed. When you go out shopping, I am pretty sure if you don't like a product, you will take it back to the store for a refund without even thinking twice, so why are you not offering refunds? This isn't Burger King, you can't have it your way.

If you are getting alot of refunds, than maybe you should give your product a second look, to see if you can improve it. I think when you refuse to issue refunds, you lose a future paying customer. The object is to build a list of paying customers, not drive them away by refusing to refund them.

I definitely agree with Alex. Not giving refunds may feel like a pain now, but you need to maintain a solid online reputation.

It's super easy for pissed of consumers to rant about you on the mass of "scam report forums" out there.

    So be careful...

There is nothing that kills a reputation faster than refusing to give a refund.
