Can a Free Mailchimp account send a series of emails?

Hi there,
I want to find out if it is possible to add a signup form to my website from mailchimp that allows people to sign up to a 9 week (emails) training course, if they enter their email address in my form on my website.

Do I just create a list, then create a campaign and once i have someone on my list I can schedule each email to go...seems a little long winded?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Mike

    Hi Mike

Yes you can. They are called autoresponders. You can schedule them to run sequentially one after another. You tell each autoresponder how many days it must wait before sending it out.

Just remember that you cannot use MailChimp for ANY affiliate marketing.

Is it OK to use mailchimp to send people to your own site and then they see links on your own site to the affiliate products?

I am only interested in legitimate offers.

I suggest you read the terms and conditions on MailChimp's site. I think even that is a problem for them if I remember correctly.

I only use MailChimp for my offline lists.

Not with a free account, no.

No "autoresponder series" emails with a free account: it's "broadcasts only".

But you wouldn't want to do this using Mailchimp, anyway, Mike.

      No; it isn't.

It isn't "using Mailchimp for affiliate marketing" that's forbidden. It's "being an affiliate marketer, whether you use Mailchimp for it or not". http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post3762385

      Nope.

You'd best join either GetResponse or Aweber and start off the way you mean to carry on with a proper, reliable, professional autoresponder with very high deliverability, all the options/frills, professional support/advice available and at negligibly low cost. GetResponse gives you a free month to start, and then it's $15 per month after that. That means you have two months to earn $15 to cover the cost. I don't mean this to sound as cheeky as it might, but if you can't take $15 in two months, then it isn't a business at all!
