Well, normally you would take the revenue X 12 if you're the seller and that's what you would ask for it.

If you're the buyer you would normally go Revenue X 9 and meet in the middle somewhere.

I also agree. I would like to add that you also need to request or show proof of income if you are serious about buying or selling.

I made this SEO analisys for you:

traderslaboratory.com Report | Website Grader Tool

That website is very well optimized and very well indexed by search engines.

There are also active social profiles for it.

It is a very good grade domain and website, indeed!

If you want to do it the right way, take your monthyl earnings * 24 and divide them by 2 if the site is younger than 2 years.

If its older, then divide it by 1.5 and if its older than 4 divide it by 1.3 and so on

That should give you a very decent price.

    Good luck!

PS: Com domains are more worth

If automated website valuation tools were worth anything at all, (which they aren't), many of us would be millionaires several times over.

Best way is to just put the site up for sale if you're interested in unloading it, write up a killer sales page and set a reserve. But definitely ignore all website valuations based on a robot script, totally useless compered to real world valuations.

Established forums tend to sell for around 2-3x yearly net profit - sometimes higher. It's impossible to figure out what a site is worth without knowing details about a site. Most of the answers in this thread are nonsense.

If you don't own it and want to estimate what the site makes (hence get a reasonable idea what it's worth) message the owner and say you want to buy advertising and ask for rates/traffic stats. Anything less than hard data is simply a guess, regardless of the third party tools you have at your disposal. They have a media kit available (Advertisement Solutions) so it would be fair to assume the owners know what they are doing/have an established company.

12 months worth of revenue for smaller sites.

24 months and upwards for larger, more profitable sites.

Erm, are you the seller or are you the buyer?

Is this site even on sale?
Or you are using this as an example?

    Thanks for the advice guys!

I've requested their media kit .. so will find out. According to Quantcast.com, they get about 33K UVs per month, 250K pageviews, plus they have a list.

My very broad estimation for the sites revenue is $10K/month ... adsense + list promotion.
