Why would someone put in the effort of scanning the QR code online when you can just click a link?

It's alot easier for me to scan a QR code to get directions to a place than type it in. If I don't know the address of where I am going I will look it up on my computer first because its faster for me to type with a full keyboard. Once I get the addresss I then type the address into my phone. Plus I live in the country so I don't always have 4G so that also makes it a pain!

Scanning the QR allows me to point and shoot and I am out the door getting in my car while the directions are loading. It does help, but my case is probably alot different than most.

I have always thought along the lines of what Taniwha said, but I see your point.

I never thought about using it for directions. It does have some limited use even for directions though. It would only be useful for people within driving distance of the location mentioned on the website.
