Should I scrap my old blog and remake it?

Hi.

Here is the link to my old blog Aim Down Your Sights

I started writing video game reviews and then switched niches a few times and now I have an old blog with a bunch of articles about completely unrelated topics. The traffic is steadily dropping but I used to get >2,000 unique views per month.

I feel like it would be pointless to hold onto it since most of the articles are unrelated and it is not really generating any revenue - I am assuming that is because the traffic is not targeted. (10$ from Adsense in 5 years, lol).

So, do you think I should give it up and start a new website?

Maybe you can sell it before traffic goes down to zero and use the money on the new site.

Would anyone buy a website that does not have targeted traffic? And if I was going to sell it - where should I list it? And for how much?

    Thanks for the responses.

I would suggest you flip it off on Flippa.com.

      Flippa should do fine!

Yeah, some people will buy a blog that's generating traffic regardless of how targetted it is towards the current topic. The traffic is targetted towards something, and PPC/CPA expert can take advantage of that.

What was your aim for starting your blog in the first place? Was it for adsense income?

If you narrowed down your niche more you could probably resurrect it with a bit of work. There is an advantage to having a blog that has been online for 5 years.

What was bringing the traffic when you were getting 2000 visitors a month?

Nice looking blog but could do with a more exciting header.

The primary purpose was to have a place to upload my video game reviews. I didn't think about monetizing it until later then I slapped some Adsense onto it and made a grand total of 10$. Most of my traffic was coming from Google for different keywords that I targeted by accident, lol.

I could delete all the posts that are unrelated and try to bring it back from the dead...

But I don't really know what niche to target now. Should I delete all the posts and start blogging from scratch or should I delete some posts and keep the ones that are related? For example, I could keep the video game reviews and continue writing video game reviews...

I don't really want to try sell it on Flippa because I don't have any experience flipping websites and I am not really looking forward to paying the listing fee - a bit tight on cash right now.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
