2Checkout - Paypal Alternative?

After getting my account closed by Paypal due to using affiliates to promote my offers. Which apparently is agaist the TOS they have frozen my acccount and will close it

Anyone use 2Checkout?

How are you finding it? Is it a good alternative.

I know they accept paypal payments so that seems like a good way around accepting them

Would love to hear from some people who have used it

If there is any way you can get Paypal back, then surely try for it. Paypal is the best among all of them.
2Checkout is alternative option but certainly cant reach paypal level...

Yes but it has Paypal as a payment option.

No no way to get account back and the way they have treated me I don't want to use them anymore. I can't risk them taking my money again

I don't really understand this perspective at all.

Customers buying through 2Checkout (or ClickBank, or BlueSnap, or Fastspring) can pay either by PayPal or by credit-card, whichever they prefer. How can that "not reach PayPal level"? It seems to be "PayPal level +"?

(I don't think BlueSnap will actually be suitable for you, without PayPal of your own, but the others are perhaps possibilities?).

Yes thats what I figured its better than Paypal becuase you can use Paypal and 7 other paypal methods

I like the fact you don't need to have an account to purchase through them

PayPal told you that it is against their TOS to have an affiliate program?

    I highly doubt that...

    Are you just assuming that?

I used 2checkout for about 4 years to process the sales on one of my mortgage websites. They were a reliable payment processor that I had very few issues with.

2CO is a reliable option, faster customer service, and can handle whatever transaction you may have. Customer's can pay using credit cards directly without creating any account.

2checkout is pretty good - they dont allow internet marketing related products though.
