When to start feeding your funnel traffic?

Is it better to feed in traffic as soon as you have the squeeze and oto setup or wait until you have your auto responder mails entered in?

Cheers

I mean it never hurts to start early.

But I usually setup the auto-responder right after.

So I would wait, but keep dead as short as possible.

Is a week too long do you think?

Shouldn't you have some sort of relationship a/r sequence in place though?

Whats the use of a list if they've forgotten who you are?

Or do you just focus on sending broadcasts rather than setting up a flowing a/r sequence that leads them through a series of choices.

Where are you getting the traffic?

Shouldn't take much longer to write a few autoresponders to have ready at least. Though how do you know what to write in them and when and how to promote what?

I see a lot of advice on how to set up squeeze pages and upsell pages, though never much of anything on the autoresponder copy and sequence part.

This really depends on what you've given away for an opt-in and where your traffic has come from.

In my case I'm going to be using solo ad traffic and trying to recoup some of my costs with a nicely placed oto.

Re the a/r sequence I like to send them to a survey early on when their still fresh and buzzing from the great freebie they just recieved

        Hope that helps

You need to get everything ready before you send traffic. No use sending traffic to your squeeze pages without an OTO or autoresponder messages in place.

Just see if you can get traffic and sign ups first.

If your funnel and squeeze page works, then do the content

I'm almost 100% positive that I can get traffic and signups. What I am more concerned about is how many signups I'll get for my buck and at what percentage of them will purchase my OTO.

Hey Ryan I bought your funnel WSO so I'll be using the included a/r messages and re-writing them. I'm planning on creating my own freebie and oto though.

Cheers for all the answers. Getting some contradicting answers. Keep em coming!

Awesome, that's even better since people are complaining about oversaturation regarding the funnels.

Great that you're going one step further!

Do not leave money on the table. Start your traffic flow after your AR is set up.

It is always better to start with proper setup. first you setup your autoresponder then you can focus on the other things. When every thing is perfect then drive traffic to your squeeze page with quality content on it.

Well you will need at least one email, the welcome email, then you can write one or two followups per day and add those in. In a perfect world you would wait till you have a years worth of emails lined up, all with exceptional content, however perfection will actually prevent you from acting.

So work as you go along, start driving traffic today, write 1-2 followup emails per day and those in your ar. As you get more signups you will be encouraged to write more emails, it will push you to take action.
