good "real world" coaching/membership programs

Anyone making money off "real world" coaching/membership affiliate programs? Specifically, non-Internet focused programs,
coaches that help retailers, wholesalers and entreprenuers with their businesses?

If so, what is your conversation rate with them and what are the best programs out there?
Looking for a list of programs for good, general business marketing programs.

The "real world" does not need this type of programme - it is absolutely stuffed with consultants, in house trainers and, dare I say it, a lack of need.

The "real world" has been out there a very long time and has got most of the infrastructure established - it is still vulnerable, however, to snake oil salesmen and smoke and mirrors.

There have been many notorious collapses of 'training' establishments (particularly language related) that have failed to be financially viable because of lack of customers and the resultant severe cash flow problems.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

I agree with Art, the non-internet coaches and trainers
      are called business consultants.

The retail business market is flooded with well intentioned
consultants but with the growing decline of the real world
business sector many are learning to follow the direction
of the modern day advance to the internet.

The internet is rapidly removing the need for an outlet to
distribute company merchandise and consultants are faced
with a disturbing decrease in demand for their services.

I would invest more time and effort into online ventures as
the retail business establishments continue to disappear
      from the modern day psycology.

I can see your point, the "real world" has been around for a while and so are consultants, etc. But there's definitely a need. Many business owners are looking for answers to survive the contraction.

My neighbor's hot tub store is suffering, for the first time he is getting into smarter marketing- hitting past clients with offers, etc.

I'm looking for a list of marketing/business consultant membership sites focused on helping general business, folks like Jay Abraham, Dan Kennedy, but with more of a focus on helping the small-shop businessman.

Local coaching is always hot, the offline niche is great but make sure you're providing value as they know where you live!

Thanks Jonathan. I'm still interested in finding a great offline coach, if anyone has had good experience with one!
