Flippa Now Has Categories!

Some of you have tried several times to sell your website or domain name on Flippa with no success. Your listings might have been buried underneath the thousands of other listings that were up until this point not organized by category.

So now that Flippa has introduced a way for buyers to find you by category,
if you have previously given up on Flippa, would this make you go back and try again?

Check out the new categories page at: Flippa.com/categories/niche

Its going to depend on whether the buyers are savvy enough to search via categories. Many of them already search on keyword, so it will depend on whether they make the switch to "categories".

I'm cool with it though as Flippa is continually trying to improve their marketplace.

Thanks for the updated info, I did not know that they had categories. Yes, I would try again knowing the search can be narrowed down. Those browsing the site looking for a specific "type" of website certainly will take the time to look at the categories section. Thanks for the post.

This is a good strategy and I have done business on flippa many years. Sadly, I wish that things were different for us. Perhaps, our flippa can cut down on spam some. What we need are more PR1 and PR2 sites to choose from, but there we go. I see a lot of PR0 sites that have no traffic - yes zero. Yeah, we wish that we saw some sites that actually make some money. Good news is that they are trying improve.
