Social Media and Nighclubs

I'm thinking about writing a "smart guide" about using social media as a gateway to nightclubs in large cities; for meeting people, finding hot spots, great deals, VIP treatments, invites to special events, etc.

My thoughts are that linking the two usually is for promotional purposes and that can be spammy, but I'd like it to be more of a user friendly, who's who kind of a guide. Curious how people connect social media and nightclubs? Thoughts?

    I think it is worth a shot. What makes the product stand out is it revolves around a specific angle. If you can easily list the benefits of using social media as a gateway to nightclubs, include actionable tips and demonstrate culpability through actual case studies, then you have a unique product.

    Everyone who goes to the club wants to feel special; in that realm they feel like King/Queen of the Universe popping bottles in VIP.

    The Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone provides a similar service which could be emulated or tied into via an API. You walk past a store or a venue (like a nightclub or a bar) in the street and it tells you on your phone what is up ahead in the street.

    Might be worth looking into your idea more since it is already mainstream to an extent by being a part of the smartphone system.

    A system that ties in social media with this could well be awesome!
