Does anyone have experience with Google Image Ads?

We'd like to know:
  • What is the average conversion rate of from the clicks generated from Google Image Ads.
  • Where will the image ads show up? I know it'll show up on some website if they signed up with AdSense.
  • Does anyone notice that their traffic from Google Image Ads comes from some games sites? Does some of the games sites make visitors to click on ads so that gamers can advance in the games?
  • Are there any ways to block the ads on un-related website?
  • Google Image Ads goes on all devices, right? How can we block off mobile devices?
Answers are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The banner ads are a part of the Adwords "Display Network". The banners will show up on sites of publishers that are using adsense.

There are numerous parameters determining where you banner will be displayed. You could simply hand-pick the domains yourself, or use one of the contextual targeting options that Adwords has (targeting by caterogry).

I do not know whether some site owners intentionally tell people to click on the ads. Google has a pretty solid fraud detection system, thus website owners engaging in such activity get banned pretty quickly.

As far as the devices are concerned, I believe you can only target specific devices.
