Is this the Right Time to launch an Internet Marketing Product

17 replies
Hi all,

I was thinking of few of my plans for next month and one of them is to launch an info product (ebook) for Internet Marketers (SEO Course basically).

I know I know; there are lots and lots of ebooks out there by reputable and famous authors, so why should I launch mine. Well, the answer is simple, it (will be) is going to be my first product and I am sure IM products still are in high demand. Also I have seen people practicing old-school SEO techniques that doesn't work any more.

So my question is:

Is this the right time (for me) to launch an SEO related product?

Will look forward for your professional responses.

    If you think your SEO techniques are currently working then it is the best time to launch your course. They probably won't work forever.

    Hello
    I would say its always time to launch a product. The thing about SEO is that it's always changing and there so many tricks and methods you can build onto. This is why is there is always a demand for new info Maybe your product has the same info, how you teach might be easier for some people to understand . Another thing that will help with launching it will be proof that you are ranking sites.

    Cheers

    Very right time. SEO products won't become obsolete too.
    As people these days were also trying to learn SEO then this would
    be your greatest timing to earn.

    If I were you I'd get some JV's/Affiliates first, then launch.

    In regards to best time to launch/are IM products still in demand? Last week there was a launch that did over $1,000,000 (yes million) its first week..

    Go for it.

        There's never going to be the 'perfect' time to start anything, so just do it!

        There's never been a wrong time to launch an IM product. It's evergreen.

          Thanks for all the replies guys. Really appreciate it.

          Completely agree that SEO keeps changing and I need to be quick in launching a product.

          @Josh Monroe
          I do not have any experience in JVs/Affiliate so far. But I am sure once I get into it, I'll get the idea. Still, do you recommend that I "must" go for affiliates and JVs for the product?

          1M launch? Was it a WSO here at WF?

          @ webboost
          Well said mate. In the end, it's the method used for teaching/training that count's, backed by solid experience.

          @ RockingLastsForever
          Exactly. I have seen many people saying that SEO is dead and blah blah. But in real, people who are declaring the death of SEO, are also 'still' optimizing their websites for search engines---weird.

          You are right. IM isn't going anywhere in near future. In real, it has started to grow more.

          PS: I didn't get your 'demographic' part. Do you mean local audience by that?

          @alvinchua91
          Thanks very much for the response and for the motivation mate. Much obliged.

          Didn't get this part. Please clear.

          @Art of Marketing
          A great piece of advice there; thanks mate.

          @Plugin Profits
          You got that right. There's always time to test things out.

    A lot of people are fed up with SEO and are looking at alternative traffic methods so you're going to have to prove that your method actually does work and works well.

    Statistically speaking, there are over 100,000,000 US citizens out of work. (That's not including seniors, or children).

    So, what do your instincts tell you?

    In my opinion, the MMO / IM market isn't going anywhere.

    Not in our lifetime.

    The other part of the equation, is does your product actually fulfill a need? Does it talk to your demographic?

    Just my $.02

      Where did the extra 687,000,000 people come from? According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there were 313.9 million citizens in 2012.

      I know that their figures are off but not by that margin.

    No one knows accurately when's the right time to launch a product like yours. But I highly recommend you launch now, it's always better to cash in early than late. Majority of the money-making websites have all started some time ago (not immediately profitable). It takes time and effort to succeed. So, start now and be ready to work your a** off and reap the rewards in a few short years

    There aren't going to be any less books in existence in the future. Now is as good a time as any.

    Yes, it is. As long as your product provides value and you position your WSO correctly.

    If your method works now launch it now. SEO is not everyone's favorite way to get traffic but if you have methods that work people will want to buy it.
