Your experience with fiverr

How many of the people here have had services done from fiverr?

I was browsing fiverr last night and found gigs that offer to give things like 50,000 targeted facebook IDS.

When I read the comments posted by buyers, most of them give them a thumb up on delivering, but very few actually mention if they get results, unless it's bad, and they say they got "one opt in" or something.

Has anyone actually found fiverr beneficial when it comes to those sort of gigs? Or better to avoid?

I know it can be good for video reviews etc. But I've always wondered whether people have first hand experience with the so called 100,000 IDs/tweets etc.

Fiverr is not the place to find quality traffic. You will either get untargeted traffic, redirect traffic or even bot traffic. Not worth it. Just think about it, why would they offer so much for only $5?

Fiverr is a great option for many other things but for guaranteed, targeted traffic that will create opt-ins and sales, you should look elsewhere.

Just like what Nick says here, when you buy Facebook likes on Fiverr they will more than likely be bots. Even the ones that advertise as "Real Likes" are mainly bots and won't add any value to your page other than having likes. I think having "5K Likes" and then "0 People Talking About This" looks weird and screams spam. But I'm into Internet Marketing so I'm not sure if it's something that other people notice as well.

I have used Facebook Likes from Fiverr to get my Pages started however. I typically only buy like 50-100 in order to meet the minimum needed for the Username URL (i.e www.facebook.com/warrior).

I've tested the gigs that Tweet your link to 500,000 followers too. Those are also a waste of money. Fiverr has a bunch of other great uses but don't expect high quality Likes or Followers.

Well it's $5. So, can a test hurt?

I'm sure you know this, but any website / fiverr gig/ service that says they can get you "real" facebook likes, twitter followers or whatever, are not giving your real ones.

For me personally I use Fiverr to get 2,000 likes just for initial social proof so people don't see my product/page as brand new and are more likely to Like it themselves.

But it is for sure not a place to find real traffic. http://www.facebook.com/12weeksinthailand right now it has 61 real likes from friends and blog readers. I just purchased 2,000 likes from Fiverr yesterday, interesting to see what will happen tomorrow.

Thats what I do myself because its very difficult to get likes to your page if no one has already liked it.
I use fiverr minimally for things like facebook fans

I love using Fiverr.com for many different projects, but there is one thing I have noticed...if it goes wrong...tough!

I have on a few occasions made a purchase and the transaction has been lost. The first time, a few months ago, I let it go because it was only $5. The second time I raised a ticket with support.

That was 2 weeks ago. I'm still going back and forward waiting for a refund or my order to appear. I thought it would be a simple case of refunding me and letting their techy people investigate it in the backround in their own time. Nope!

I've used fiverr for facebook likes, tweets, and backlinks, and have not found it very helpful.

They usually deliver what they promise, it is just very low quality and it has never really done anything for me.

The only exception to this is facebook likes. Sure, they're not real people, but getting those first few hundred likes on a page is kind of a nice way to get the ball rolling, and I don't think five bucks is too bad for that.
