Clickbank marketing with case studies?

Would it work to market clickbank with case studies?

For example, if I want to promote a weight loss product and write a case study how it helped me lose weight, and use that case study report as a free giveaway, is this a good way to presell?

    I think that would be an awesome giveaway. People want to have confidence that the product or service they are buying actually works.

    What better way to show exactly how it works then using it for a case study?

      You might even try a two-part case study - the first part could, for example, cover first 4 weeks, and would be the opt-in special report. Plus, of course, then you'll have a follow-up email sequence where you continue to sell the product, feeding them tidbits of how it is helping you.

      And then you offer a membership site with ongoing updates and tips as the bonus to those who purchase the actual product.

    Yes, potentially a very good way.

    But be aware that you'd need your "free report/case-study" also to fulfil the essential requirements needed, from your perspective, for its list-building purpose, otherwise you can use a good case-study/free report and still end up with a low open-rate for the subsequent email series (especially in such a competitive and difficult market as this).
