Beyond Hosting unable to handle high volume traffic?

Any high volume affiliates running CPV Lab with Beyond Hosting? I had assumed that since they're VPS servers were optimized for CPV Lab then there shouldn't be any issues but for some reason my experience hasn't been going too smoothly.

I'm currently running on their VPS3072 plan yet it seems I'm taxing their servers. I have litespeed installed so PHP isn't the problem.

It seems MYSQL is getting hit pretty hard which results in my CPV Lab install and landing pages timing out frequently during higher traffic parts of the day.

Currently they're having their techs look into this issue but I'm wondering why in the first place when they should already be optimized to run CPV Lab.

I'm thinking I'll have to bump up to semi or full dedicated but I don't really want to if I don't have to since it'll cost more.

Oh yea, I'm also not running any CPV traffic. It's all search traffic.

If anybody else ran into this issue and got around it then let me know.

You need to know if it is the memory or the cpu. If memory, you could optimize or cache some mysql some queries. Also there could be a search engine bot that is not that important that you could ban, or maybe another ip that is hitting hard.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I have several search engine bots blocked within my CPV Lab that I'm running traffic on. They've indicated that memory and cpu are running fine. It's just MYSQL that is being pounded.

One thing I'm wondering though is that I'm using CPV Lab's tokens to capture search queries, ads being run, and other data. Maybe this is causing the high strain.
