Five Click Software - Pyramid Scheme?
So I had just logged on today, and the first banner ad I saw on the main page of the forum was of Reno X's: Five Click Software that "25,681+ warriors have used." It said it was a free download so I thought I would check it out.
I realized I had actually stumbled on it before, so I wanted to reexamine it because last time the only thoughts that came to mind were "Pyramid Scheme, GET OUT." Lol
Sadly, with my second look, I came to the same conclusion.
A pyramid scheme is defined as: a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public.
That's all I can see being done here. I signed up and looked at the software, and basically all you do is set up a sub-domain website intended to attract customers who will sign up for the program (the very program you are using) and will go on to make the same website to get more customers.
No one receives anything.. They just get this step by step system that allows them to bring more people to this step by step system. So the guy on top gets a list of millions, and everyone else is just recruiting more people to make it bigger.
Maybe he recognized that he might get busted and that's why he switched it to a "free" product? Because if he offers it for free, than it's voluntary to the people who use it? I don't know, but the whole thing makes me uncomfortable..
I just want to know what you guys think, if you agree or disagree. Maybe I'm wrong, but this doesn't feel right to me. And personally, if anything seems like it could be an illegal scheme, I immediately get out of there..
What do you all think?
All the best,
-Keith
