Cheap Domain Names Registration

by DJL

Both register.com and networksolutions.com are offering $0.50 domain name registrations for a limited time.

If you Google "cheap domain names" they are in the first few ads among the results.

If you partake of these offers, be sure to disable automatic renewal and transfer the registrations to namecheap.com, or your favorite registrar, before their exorbitant renewal rates kick in after the first year.

I don't know anything about their hosting, but it's hard to beat $0.50 domain name registration. Once registered, you can host the domain wherever you choose.

Where did you see that offer, I can't find anything that says 0.50cts for a domain.

Doesn't appear at my Google results. Looks like it's a local PPC promo where Brazil isn't part.

One downside to this seemingly "great deal" -- if you check the rates after the first year, you will find that they are quite steep. networksolutions charges about $32.99 for the second and subsequent years.

I wouldn't go to dealers who isn't have much feedback.
Support is the main drawback in these cases.

Those are the cheapest I think. Network Solutions will charge a lot after first year as @hotlinkz said earlier. You can checkout namecheap too.

Buy a new domain at Network Solutions for 50¢ and transfer it to name.com in 60 days for $8.25 and you have 2 years for $8.75.

Can't beat that with a stick (or a whip)
