Hi there,

I need to setup QR code thing for a business.

Ive done some research and Ive found a site thats easy to use called Kaywa at Free QR Code Generator and QR Management with Tracking, Analytics and Support

However you have to pay monthly for the scans.

Is there a better service everyone uses, or some free way to get the scans?

Thanks for your help

Ernie

My boss wants to put a qr code on his vending machines which directs to a specific webpage on our site when people scan it with their phone.

He also wants to encorporate facebook somehow so people will have to like/share our page.

So just need to setup this whole QR thing. I don't know much about it.

    Hi Ernie,

I have used the following site for a few applications, you may want to try them out. They are accurate (I have checked them with my IPhone 5 before I sent them out), and they also support vcard.

    QR Code Generator
    Signature

Two best QR Code Generators what I have used:

    - GeneratorQrCode.com : Free Dynamic Qr Code Generator and Manager, it can make Custom QR Code or Transparent QR Code, it's very useful for me ! Visit Generator Qr Code

    - Visualead.com: Paid Dynamic QR Code Generator and Manager, it can make Custom QR Code with nice tools.

Hope this information is useful !

    Hi Ernie...

You have received some suggestions there... I'd like to add that there are many QR code generators and I wouldnt use one that you have to pay for scans.

Also.. some qr code generators direct you to an ad page before sending the scanner to the final destination. I would stay far from those as well.

I have used Fancy QR Code in the past without any trouble

    All the best!
