Do you mean how many mails to promote 1 product? Actually, I don't personally recommend people to promote many different products, especially in IM niche. If I subscribe to someone and he keeps promoting products from A to Z, I know he only wants money, but not giving value.

I don't know what's your niche. But if it's in IM, you can't help your subscribers to earn money if you don't suggest them to focus on building 1 single business first. Trying the next business opportunity offered, hopping from 1 to another, will get you nowhere except feeling tired.

So, IMHO, just focused on what you want to promote and be consistant.

I agree with eLena, you don't want to flood your list with products. You want to make it personal also and drop notes to your list to let them know that you are human and you aren't just in it for the money. The more human or personal you are, the more trusting your list will be of you.

Definitely make it personal, but don't forget to test different approaches. However, always promote related products or you risk getting a lot of spam complaints.

As for how many e-mails to promote a single product, there's not really a definite answer. It can take up to 20 e-mails or more for you to convince someone to finally purchase your product. I have heard the average is around 7. Good luck

If you are going to send emails to your list about one particular product then here is one good advice:

You don't want to hard sell the product in every email that you get.

There is one guru that I am following and have done so for years. The one thing I learned about them is that they give a lot of value in each email that I get from them.

What's great value? This guy writes very informative articles and he then adds his product at the bottom of every single email.

If I am still on his email for over 5 years now so he is doing something right.

If you hard sell your product in every single email, I can guarantee you that a lot of people will opt out and your sales will not be as high as you want them to be.

By the way, the "guru" I am referring to is Terry Dean who is an internet business coach.

I email my list every single day, I also present my offer every single day. Sometimes twice a day. My list absolutely loves me for it. People sign up to join my business everyday, and they look forward to receiving my emails every day.

It's important to give a lot of value, build relationships with stories, and sell.
