Product Creator Blog Interview

Hello everyone!

So I am doing an interview with a product creator who has recently come up with a system similar to MailChimp. It is for my internship and it's my first project.

So I am just looking for a little insights, what do you think would be some good interview questions?

Your help means a lot @.@. Thanks guys

    Here are some:

    1)
How long did it take you to get the idea up and running from the idea in your head to it being live and launched? (how many months, years)

    2) What pitfalls did they encounter along the way, which they would avoid next time

    3) What advise would you have for marketers who want to set up and create similar systems for the public ?

    4) What has been their main 3 sources of traffic to the site, or if not generated yet what are they and you planning to use as the main 3 sources of traffic to the site, once it is up and running ?

    5) Did they program it themselves or outsource the programming of the system ?

    6) Any shortcuts they can give that they have learned along the way that they can show others, so they have some shortcuts.

    7) Does the service have an affiliate program that others can help promote it

    8)
What additional features does the system have compared to mailchimp, aweber, getresponse etc ?

    9)
Who is the audience for this product/service specifically? age, business type, level of success, gender? niche etc ?

    10)
How did you meet this product creater AdmiralGroom, what is your journey to meeting him and getting them to help you create this. This would also be an interesting question.

    11) What programming language did they use for the whole thing.

    12) What are the rights of the product/system? or you own them all after completion ?

There are some to get you started, you can also do 'variations' of these.

In this interview they should not hide behind any answer, as an honest answered interview is a good one. You can even go one step further and turn the interview into an audio and video format product!.

You should ask the product creator (if possible) what kind of questions he would like to answer to better promote the product or try to understand these questions by yourself.

You have to study everything you can about the product you are promoting, and make questions that will help the product creator convince the public that this product really is superior.

Make questions that will help him show to the public the advantages of having his product without mentioning his competitors because this is an aggressive tactic and many people dislike this kind of promotion.
