My Traffic Sources Are All Failing Me - What Now?

I need a new traffic source. Craigslist, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Forums, Squidoo...they are all failing me. I haven't been able to generate a single opt-in in the past week, but my earnings aren't sound or consistent enough to resort to paid traffic methods, plus i don;t have any money to invest. Does anyone know an alternative free traffic source?

What offer are you trying to promote?

It seems that you are trying to do too many things at a time. How about you decide on the ONE method that you want to stay focus on so that you will be able to master the method. Once you master the method already, you will be able to get consistent stream of traffic to the website.

I personally master one method at a time. I have one paid method and free method of getting traffic in my marketing campaign. Just stay focus and take action on it

I bet you're not tracking anything.

Well, there are so many sources that might generate quality and targeted traffic. Give a shot with evergreen - blog commenting and forum posting.

Those are quite a bit of traffic sources. I agree with JasonBennet, focus on one traffic method and master it first before moving onto the next one. Switching to another traffic source while still following your same methods will only yield the same result.

The other suggestion I have is to focus on building quality content and really over-deliver on this. With any free traffic sources, you really want to compel the audience to have a reason on opting in to your list. By providing free content that is of high quality, and mixed in with bait marketing (offering them a free ebook or product in exchange for a name & e-mail, etc) I guarantee that your opt-ins will increase.

You should be embracing numerous sources of traffic. Finding out the ones that work, and ditching the ones that don't.

Focusing on one traffic source only not only is a complete waste of time, (especially if its a dud) but also dangerous.

Just like everything else, you should always have redundancy. Traffic is no different.

At the same time though focusing on too many methods can spread yourself thin (which seems to be what he is doing) And every traffic source you try yields little result.

By focusing on ONE method at a time you can generate a lot more traffic and master it quicker.

My suggestion is focus on two methods for about 30 days then ditch the one that is not as effective, and concentrate on the one that is.

        Then pick another method.

          What results?

          Based on what?

          Where's his data?

As I said, I bet he's not tracking anything. So this whole notion of "nothing's working" is probably garbage.

I say upgrade to a banner image signature for this forum. It helps quite a bit.
