Product Creators I Need Your Opinion On My Set uP!!!

I have done a couple of CB products and havent done too well...for various reasons but I think I have learned now Im going to give it one last try...

I plan on spending ALOT of money on copy and sales video, jv btoker, graphics etc. The whole nine yards...Now my question is this:

I plan on using Optimize press for the membership area in the back.
The membershipvideos will be played with easy video player hosted on amazon S3
The membership plugin will be DAP
The homepage will be custom with jw player or flowplayer.

Would this type of set up be good for a fairly big launch? Should I do something else? Considering Im already spending alot of money. Can all of these handle a large amount of traffic/ sign ups? Any flaws/problems you can see? Im just trying to piece everything together and dont want to make any mistakes!

    The setup is fine, but I think the only mistake that you might still make, is to assume that investing in "copy, sales video, jv btoker, graphics, optimize press, membership area in the back, membership videos, easy video, amazon S3, DAP membership plugin, homepage with custom jw player or flowplayer", etc.... is going to change your outcome from "haven't done too well", to the launch of the century.

    You mention a fairly "big launch". To most that would mean having 100's of affiliates lined up including many of the top dogs, and you giving away thousands of dollars in cash prizes in including laptops, ipads, etc... otherwise don't be too concerned about a "large amount of traffic / signups" crashing your systems.

    Having said all that, I'm not telling you all of this to be discouraging, I'm telling you this from experience, and to save you from the mistake I've seen so many marketers make when they have extra money to spend. Or in your case as you mention, ALOT! What you need is a few people working with you who have experience in making "big launches" happen, and who know how to manage a launch properly in order to make your big goals a reality.

    Based on your first sentence, I can only suggest that you do not go at it alone and only invest and pump money into all the gizmos you mention, as this won't make a big difference. You need to work on getting some relevant JV's together. Think about it....

        Well for starters, if you have not already done so, I think you could get allot out of browsing the JV threads here:

        Warrior Joint Ventures

        Maybe you can browse there to see if anyone is trying to do something in a similar niche, and or make a post to see if you can meet some people to work with in order to build your project from idea to reality together.

        Note that even if a JV broker hooked you up with significant JV big boys, you would still however need to have your project more developed than just the idea. As in, a functioning sales funnel and affiliate system set up and ready to go, so that potential significant JV's can see what you've got, as opposed to you just telling them what you are planning to do. (Trust me, they get that all day).

        So don't do it backwards and think they will help you from scratch. They are all business and just want to plug in and play.

        Don't go all crazy though trying to patch together allot of software and scripts, and then having to spend months trying to learn it all, and then work out the glitches only to figure out that you've wasted your money. Sometimes less is more.

        So for now I would just focus on getting your idea off the ground, setting it up online with a basic working funnel, and then work with some approachable folks who see your vision and have some value / skills to contribute.

    The more of your files you can host off of your own server, the better. So in addition to hosting your membership content on Amazon S3, I would also recommend hosting all other common files such as the images and style sheets of your website. By taking this stuff off your server you will greatly reduce the load each visitor puts on the server thus increasing the amount of traffic your server can handle at any one time.

    I don't really have a lot of experience with launching myself but I recently built a biggest product using Optimize Press, DAP, Amazon S3 and I've been very impressed with everything so I know you're on the right track with that.

    Looks like you are spending a lot of money here and there, great .. instead spend more time in making your product better that can help more and more people and that will help you more...

    these resource can not guarantee your success but a good product can. I hope you have take this to consideration.
