I have a question if someone can answer for me. What if I wanted to start a site on lets say on massage chairs. Let's say that the keyword that I am trying to target is "Omega Massage Chair."

Would you register the domain with the brand Omega? For instance would you register
omegamassagechair.com if you could get it?

The reason that I ask this is because I once heard that you should never register a domain with a company or brand name because you could get in trouble for using the company or brand name.

I have no idea if I should target this keyword or if I should just forget about it and choose another keyword.

If anyone can tell me what they know about using brand names or company names in the domain; then I would greatly appreciate it. I look forward to all the experienced marketers tell me what they think about this or what they would recommend that I do.

    You could try getting something like MassageChairs.com and
    then create a subdomain called Omega. So it's
    Omega.MassageChairs.com

    And yes, you can get in trouble with registering a company
    or brand name that has been trademarked. However, if you
    are an affiliate, if you contact them, they might give you
    the green light.

    It doesn't hurt to ask.

    You need to be careful with brand names and registered trademarks. i think the subdomain idea is good as that way if you were to be questioned by the product owner you could always just delete the subdomain and not loose your main website (eg. massagechairs.com)
