Reverse Email Marketing - I am on Vacation...

Over a year ago I wrote a ebook on a method I developed for Email Marketing. Maximizing the conversion rate with my view of best practices.

One of the focus's of it was to establish trust and to move the contacts to both Instant Messenger and Social Networking for quick 2 way communications.

I also covered CanSpam and State Statutes which targeted spam email and how to deal with spammers which were

1. Ask them to stop
2. Block them
3 Report them
4 Sue them under state statutes (Yes you can do this in most states)
5. Send an advert back to the spammer if possible.

Now #5 is inteaging as most of these spammers are what I call black hat marketers. They may scrape and send unsolicited email, but they are trying to make money one way or the other. I simply at the time sent white hat solutions/offers to the emails that didn't bounce back and I did get a few conversions doing this.

All in all my method was very lengthy to set up and implement and I wish I had a simpler way. Then it hit me, the solution was in front of me the whole time.

The vacation autoresponder. Most services have this, Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo.

So what I did was this - I set up a simple resource email to offers as well as contact information via IM and Social Networking. Set my Vacation Time and boom, done.

The result was a small root for Passive Income. It may not be the best marketing method, but you do get a few conversions and connections.
