How do YOU find JV partners?

Pretty basic:

You've got a new product, in a niche that, to the best of your knowledge, doesn't have a resource like the Warrior Forum or JVNotifyPro. You need to get some people with related lists together and put on a JV.

How do you find those list-holders?

    1) Go to Google Adwords

    2) Create a phony ad

    then...

    3) When you get to the ad placement screen, the system will allow you to search for high-traffic sites in your niche that are currently running Google Adsense. These are the guys you want to partner with... especially the ones who have been gathering an e-mail list. (Note: You should be able to filter these websites by "traffic").

    4) Delete your phony ad and say, "Thanks for the info, suckers".

(If I remember correctly, John Reese once called this Google Adwords traffic screen one of the most valuable sources of information on the entire internet).

Edit: This is found on the "Networks" tab in the new interface. Go to the "Content: managed placements" section and click "Try the placement tool". (It's located on the right side of the screen).

Do searches for forums in that related niche too. These guys collect emails and usually don't ever email the list - so you could help them realize a whole new revenue stream.

Go to Clickbank and search for your desired niche. Then contact the top product owners.

The way you go about trying to find JVs actually depends on how competitive your niche is.For the less competitive niches, all you really have to do is ask people if they would like to JV with you.So you can do a Google search on your niche. Then write down the sites that come-up. Next try to find out a name for each site so that you can address each email personally. Then email the person who runs the site.

In highly competitive niches you need to make yourself stand out from everyone else. So to stand out you want to approach potential JV partners and ask if you can do something for them. Whatever you might be good at, offer to help them with something that you are good at (creating a script, writing a blog, etc.) Hopefully after you have done something forn them they will feel obliged to return the favour. You never know they might just decide the nice thing to do is a JV with you.

    Best wishes
