How can some offer single opt in? Not aweber?

Hi, I keep seeing opt in advertisements with just an email and not double opt in. I use aweber and they appear NOT to allow single opt in's for fear of spam.
So how are others able to offer single opt in forms. Some even use aweber.
Thanks
John

Aweber offers single or double optins.
You could choose what option you want when you setup your campaign.

I have many single opt-in lists at Aweber.

There are some Aweber customers whose single opt-in facility has been disabled at account level (i.e. so that it no longer appears as an option at list level); but if that doesn't apply to you, or if you don't know whether it applies to you, I can only suggest asking their support staff for more details.

Been using single optin for years now..

Just check aweber support, maybe you're missing the option in your account.

    Cheers,

Aweber does offer single opt-in as that is who i use and all of my campaigns are single opt-in.

When your creating a new list and you get to the point to where it tells you to customize your RESPONSE REQUIRED form just scroll down and below that form click for the double opt-ins to be off and you will be all set.

I looked closer and it said it just "recommended" to use double, but I was able to change it to single. Mustn't have looked close enough before.
    thanks
