Bitcoin - Hype or Worth a Look?

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm interested in hearing opinions about Bitcoin, and whether it's a fad/temporary money grab or if you think it has roots and would be worthwhile to configure payment gateways etc. to accept it as currency.

Anyone here even using it?

Considering that botnets can easily manipulate it, I'd stay away from it. The recent price surges (and crash) are illustrative. Search around for articles regarding manipulation. This is not a crazy theory.
