I am planning to start one and would like to store all my downloadable files on amazon and nothing on my host except the site data files. Can I let my paid members download direct from amazon exclusively for every small files?
Also is wishlist member plugin ok for a plr store? And I want to base my site on word press and Which theme should work well with this? I have a bunch of premium wp themes and is wondering whether any ecommerce themes will work with a plr store?

Any tips and suggestions are welcomed. Instead of monthly subs, I am looking for either half yearly or yearly and planning to use paypal and/or 2co..

Thanks.

You might want to check out Restored - WP Ecommerce for easy digital downloads from theme forest. It's a theme mainly for selling digital products. You should download the easy digital downloads plugin from WP for this to work.

Many thanks for your suggestions! Now I know what to look for. I was about to go for a basic e-commerce theme. :-)

All you really need to start a PLR store is content, an email address, and a way to take money.

Any theme really works, you really don't need to aim for pretty, just to make it user friendly. I have used a variety on two separate stores, no real difference or issues.

I now use dlguard to handle it for me, though I did have hiccups early after the switch.

I started with E-Junkie to handle my store, though it does get pricey once you get some inventory. I swapped about the same time I was going to have to start paying $27 a month.

As far as Amazon integration, I am not able to help there.

that is one slowwwwwwwwww loading theme, besides making it easy to navigate, I would stay away from slow themes and look for one that loads fast for your customers enjoyment

I built a PLR site a few years ago for a client that unfortunately isn't around anymore. Its been about 2 years but I remember she bought a store on Flippa it was full of duplicate content and she really make it stand out and it was brilliant and then she flipped it.

      But on with your questions.......

What she actually did was find a nice blog theme that she liked and then had product descriptions for all the different products and also had a high ticket item offering the entire store and she only spent about 2 hours a week on it once it was set up.

I am not one for all these plugins that are about today so it was very simple. All products were sold via clickbank and download files hosted by her on her hostgator account.

So you can go down the simple route if you wish and its rather easy. And cost effective if you were to outsource it too.

It is totally up to you how you do this. But make sure you have the categories listed on the front page of your website. When a customer clicks on the link they will be taken to a page with all the available packs.

Once a pack is clicked it will take them to the description of the pack and the order button. You can set up your order button through PayPal or install a shopping cart feature on your site.

Another way in which having your own PLR Store can supplement your Ghostwriting business is that you can refer your clients to your store and vice versa. This works particularly well when you have a client that cannot afford your ghostwriting fees. You can then tell them they will get the same quality work from your PLR site. You could even offer to rewrite the articles for a small fee.

Just as long as you make it easy for the customer to buy and you sell quality products then you will make money :-)
