Twitter FREE Direct message

Hi all,

I am paying for SocialOomph at the moment to have "direct message" sent to people that follow me. However, I am looking another FREE tool to which I can sent DM, follow people that follow me and follow people in my niche.

I want to have something that will help me to make the best of my time. I spend about 2 to 3 hours everyday searching for people in my niche (very time consuming), checking to real people and sending messages.

I am active on Twitter and I am looking for a tool which will help me to make the best of my time.

Anyone using any type of system to automate your Twitter?

P.S. I have just one account and I am happy with that.

    Do people really read their DMs? Given the huge amount of spam, I am not sure that is the way to go. The best way is to send quality tweets and grow your followers from retweets. It takes longer but it is more solid.

      Yes that`s right it takes longer to get satisfied results but how long does it take, i have tried Twitter several times but no more follower than 100-150 followers

    Most Twitter members are aware of automated DMs so they are more likely to ignore your messages. Be more active in Twitter so people will recognize you and give them something useful from time to time. Check other active profiles as well. The more activity, the more chances of increasing your network. You don't have to spend long hours of your time for this as long as you stay active and post tweets regularly.

    The best thing you can do on Twitter is stay active, retweet, reply and engage others. That's how you win people's trust and respect.

    Don't do the DM thing. Nothing will make me unfollow someone faster than getting spammy DMs.

    I agree with writeaway, people just don't read their DMs. Tweeting a lot of high content is the sure fire way to get people following you.
