within a couple of hours, how would you do it... You've got a pretty hefty bill to pay, and you need to generate some quick cash! You've got about 12-24 hours to raise it, how would YOU do it). Ways I would look at it. Email my list with an offer they definitely can't refuse. Combine that offer with a special WSO (to reach even more people) I can think of a couple more, but be interesting to see what other's can come up with on a bright Sunday morning. Kim |

A new PPC campaign for two or three of my products put together at a 50% + sale... That would be at least a $150 product... just need to sell 6-7 of them(taking into account the PPC costs)... I will create a video salesletter. By the evening, 500 should not be big deal at all... Of course you would need your own products for that which I am sure you have Kymi |

I would spend the first 5 minutes searching the forum for the 182 other "how to make $X in Y hours" threads and pick one of those ways ![]() Then, more importantly, I would take a good look at why I suddenly have a $500 bill to pay and why I don't have the money ready. And I'd make an effort to avoid the problem in the future. |

Hi Kim, I guess I'm just a one trick pony but here goes again. LOL I would get up early in the morning and put $3 in my pocket. I would walk to the corner. I would get on the bus and ride it to a city far far away. Walking into a McDonald's I would order a dollar sandwich and a cup of coffee. I would slowly eat the sandwich and drink about 5 cups of coffee with cream and sugar. Now I'm broke and don't even have bus fare home. I MUST SUCCEED just to get home. LOL Now the fun begins. I would walk into every Mom and Pop business and offer them a website and a listing in my local directory for only $150 a year. I wouldn't stop until I had my $500. Then I'd come home and get hosting, set up my directory and build the ugly little websites. That's what I would do. Oh wait. That is what I did 7 years ago. Now I guess I'd just write a report on "How I made $500 in one day" and sell it as a WSO. Oh wait, I did that too. Funny how one thing leads to another that leads to another .... George Wright |

Umm Can I just point out this was a rhetorical question lol, thought it would be a useful exercise for those willing to participate, (and helpful to those who often ask this type of question) Not quite down to my knickers yet! (Though after taking daughter and grandkids out shopping yesterday, could quite soon be) Cheers Kim |

Kim - I'd either do a quick ppc campaign with a really sweet deal attached, or a good WSO, or both. I've also had good luck in the past with quickly selling surplus electronic items on eBay to raise quick cash. - Darrell | |

Hey Kim, I can't see why someone who is in need for a quick cash flow can't create a simple little report in a couple hours or an audio or even video product and do a WSO... And if they have a list do an email campaign to it... I think it's all about the niche and what they (visitors) want to know... Doing a site stealer type of thing might be a good way to go Harris Fellman style...but it comes down to the individual skillset because they might have to write copy, deal with setting up the site and backend. --David |

Roll the closest drug dealer ![]() Failing that. Ask friends, family, the neighbours, even local businesses if they needed any crap sold on eBay. I'd take a percentage. I sold a friends, friends car on ebay 3 months ago, and made an easy $400 bucks for a couple of hours work + monitoring the auction (all questions were directed to the friend). Great photos, great auction copy... run local newspaper ads to drive traffic to your auction with a few bonuses. Works a charm. |

As a copywriter or any kind of service provider this is very simple... 1. Think of all your past clients...people who've paid you real money for your services. 2. Think about their businesses and ideas that might help them make money that you can implement or help implement. 3. Call them and offer the idea (for $500+). If you've never had any paid clients your best chance is to sell an internet marketing service to local businesses. There's usually a perception that websites are expensive to put up and that will work in your favor allowing you to charge $500 fairly easily as long as you take some time to build rapport with a business owner. Kim, I think you nailed it with your OP - email the list with an offer that can't be refused (combined with a WSO) will usually do the trick. Although that might not work quite as well for newcomers if they don't have a list or aren't experienced with WSO's (and presumably aren't expert enough with PPC to run a campaign). That said, running a WSO to offer a reasonably priced service such as graphics, writing, directory submission, etc., might be spun into the $500 needed. If I were fairly new to the WF, I might even go so far as to outline my goal and reasons for it. Other opportunities - selling stuff on Ebay seems to work (I hear a lot of folks doing this), flipping a couple of domains if you've got them, selling off rights to a product or two and so on. Really, it depends the individuals level of experience and what resources they have that can convert to quick cash. |
