Can't Get Into WarriorForum.com ... Anybody experience something similar?

Occasionally, I can't get into Warriorforum.com ... Happens about once every few months or so. Tried different browsers, cleared cache etc. but nothing seems to work.

It does resolve by itself after about 1 - 5 days. But it is getting somewhat inconvenient. Anybody has experienced something similar?

Try installing Ghostery in your browser. =)

May I know what that does? It doesn't seem to help with the issue?

Next time it happens, use a different browser and see it that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. When it did happen, I tried using Firefox, Chrome and IE. I also tried clearing cache, cookies etc. and I still couldn't get onto the forum. The website is basically down to me, but I can access it using a proxy. And it only happens for WF, not for any other site that I know of.

        Mike,

As you can access via a proxy when this problem occurs, it sounds very much like an IP issue. If your ISP has set you up with a dynamic IP address, then the suggestion made by Jeffrey is definitely worth trying. Reboot your modem and see if that helps.

Your next step if the above doesn't work is to talk with your ISP and have them investigate.

        I have experienced this too...
On a few occasions I can't access WF. Sometimes, restarting my PC works and sometimes I just have to give it 1-2 days and then, it will be normal.
I think it's as George said. When, it does happen again I'll do something else or at least get a fresh air

Sounds like we could be having the same problems.

When I can't get into the WF I do one or more of the following:

Go for a walk on the beach
Snipe a bid or two on eBay
    Write an ebook
    Visit another forum
Go to a random bus stop and get on the first bus that comes and keep getting on and off random busses until I'm totally lost and explore places I've never been
Leave home with no money and don't return until I have $100 just to see if I've still "Got It" selling offline businesses or people my online or PC skills
    Take a nap
    And lots more.

Funny it never occurred to me to use another browser.

I used all the browsers and cleared cookies, history etc. and it still did not work. It has also been happening quite regularly, about once a fortnight. The longest I couldn't get on the forum is a couple of days. I have been putting up with this for more than a year.

It didn't concern me that much except that I want to start a WSO soon. I'm using a proxy as I type this msg and it still doesn't bother me that much except for the security.

I've had a similar problem this year, occasionally I cannot login. Normally switching to another browser will do the trick, odd that this doesn't work for you!

You can also try to restart your modem and get a new IP address.

Thanks. I have done this many times as well. Basically, I turn on and off my comp a couple of times per day, including the modem. Doesn't help either. I may have to talk to the ISP. The strangest thing is that it only happens for WF and not any other site.

I got a few 404 page not found errors and time outs but I can usually access the forum again after a couple of minutes.

Well that's gotta be you, not the forum.

I'm on here most days - every day.
