Is eBay Free to list and sell domains?

Hi all,

I made my ID on eBay last week and when I tried to add the domain for sale, it asked me to first verify payment method via Paypal or Bank (Credit Card required).

My questions are:

1. Is eBay free or do I have to pay a listing fee there to sell domains (I only want to sell domains for now, no physical products)? If there's a listing fee, how much is it?
2. If the listing is free, how much AND when do I pay eBay fee (once my domain is sold)?

I've read that eBay does charge fee once the product is sold.

Will wait for answers by ebay experienced sellers.

Good day,

You should read the FAQs in the ebay site. Yes there are fees but you need to go the source to understand how they apply to what you're doing.

Nothing on ebay is free. You'll pay ebay and paypal fees. What you pay depends on a number of factors though (how many products you list, if you're getting a featured listing, etc). I agree that you need to read the full list of fees on ebay's site.

You'll have to understand the terms of eBay first before you decide on selling something. It's not about the experiences of other sellers. Get info through reading and researching. If you want to do great in successful marketing, you should have the initiative. Anyway, best of luck!

Thanks for all your responses. I am sure I've mentioned exactly what I need to sell on eBay: 2-3 Domains.

So all I am asking here is to know if there are any upfront fee eBay might charge? I don't have trouble paying fee once my domains are sold but paying for listing on eBay; I need to confirm this please.

Actually, I would like to try eBay for domain selling; and if it's free, that would be great...

      Thanks,

        Thanks,

A side the "Fee" issue you've, please, allow me to suggest, you do a lot
of studying "Completed Auctions" by the big sellers.

eBay is a hard place to sell domains. But like anything else, if you do
your home work , you can sale domains, but don't expect high prices or
        success inmediately.

Good luck to you and keep Focus.

I know it's Warrior Forum, that's why I was expecting some relevant, exact and responses from experienced persons.

Anyways, I think I picked the wrong route. Contacting eBay support now.

you have to pay a percentage to list. then another fee after your sale and you got to pay paypal fees on top of all that. Its not a great place to sell stuff, the fees really cut into your profit.

There are always fees on Ebay to sell anything. That's how they make their money! Usually two fees, a flat listing fee and a separate fee when it sells. If it doesn't sell, you won't be charged the second fee.
